Case 病例:
A 67 year old retired army major general developed early satiety
and was found to have a mass in the antrum of the stomach. A biopsy
revealed a moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma. A surgical
resection was performed, and the final pathology showed that the
tumor extended through the wall and involved 1 of 12 lymph nodes.
He received no postoperative therapy. Two years later, he presents
with right upper quadrant pain and weight loss. A CT scan shows
multiple liver metastases. His ECOG PS is 1 and his LFTs show only
a minimal elevation of his alkaline phosphatase.
